Rob Nijboer studied with Willem van Lier at the conservatory in Groningen. After earning the Performing Musician's Diploma in 1993 he was awarded a stipendium to continue his studies with John Mills in London. He has taken part in master classes of John Williams, Roberto Aussel and Vladimir Mikulka. Rob Nijboer has given solo concerts in the Netherlands, England and Spain.
