Thanks to Anton de Goede, radio producer of the VPRO in the Netherlands, Bert Kwakkel noticed that the Scottish poet Don Paterson had created a specially shaped poem called The Box in which he describes the fascination for his Kwakkel-guitar. It belongs to the collection Landing Light. Don Paterson won the T.S. Eliot-award for the best collection of poems of 2003 and the Whitbread Poetry Award.
